Way North Foods is a small hands on gourmet foods company located in Traverse City Michigan and founded in 2006 by me (Chef Perry Harmon). I use local ingredients from the farms, fields and orchards of the surrounding Northern Michigan region and beyond to make hand crafted gourmet edibles. My all-natural biscotti was introduced in 2006 and has received rave reviews (check out the "Reviews" in the drop down menu above) for its unique crunchy crust and some what softer center making it perfect for "dunkers" and those who prefer not to dunk as it is more cookie like. My biscotti is made one batch at a time (think "FRESH") by hand and the process takes eight hours from start to finish so you can taste the love and passion I put into it. I bake in small batches so I can ensure you the consumer receive the freshest possible products. Orders typically ship by weeks end and occasionally the first of the following week depending on the week's sales. All of my products are handcrafted and "All Natural" with no - preservatives, GMOs, high fructose corn syrup or chemicals of any kind. I try to source my ingredients as close to Traverse City as I can because I believe local is better for the consumer, my company, my suppliers and the planet as a whole.
